NOS - Cortelco's ITT 398200-MOE-27S - Black TEL-TREX Enhanced Desk/Wall, Fully Modular Single Line Telephone with Red Message Waiting Lite. Features a standard 12-Buttons keypad, 20-button dialer w/shift key, hold, flash, redial, release keys, visual ring indicator and electronic ringer w/Slide switch control (Hi-Lo off). Come with a ITT black line cord and handset cord, number plate, and the back plate that could be reversible to change from desk to wall (shorty line cord for wall mount). If wall mounted, a standard 630A wall jack, sometimes called a kitchen jack is needed. Sporting the ITT logo on phone and Cortelco on handset. HB Trivia -
International Telephone & Telegraph was created in 1920. The company had a small beginning as the Puerto Rico Telephone Company. During the 80's the ITT's Corinth facility was part of a joint venture agreement between ITT Corporation and CGE, transferring the majority of ownership to the newly-formed Alcatel. In July 1990, Alcatel sold Cortelco to an entrepreneur, former ITT executive.
