Big Gator Tools' MTG500NP - V-TapGuide® guide holes are sized for ANSI Standard Ground Thread Metric Taps. The Metric Tap Guide (9-holes) handles tap sizes: 1.6, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16mm. Great for repair jobs or new screw thread insert jobs. Natural steel finish, non-plated. Portable, pocket-sized. Made from special nickel alloyed steel that is Heat-treated for durability. Has a precision ground base to assure stability and accurate perpendicular alignment and centers taps to cut perfectly straight threads on flat or curved surfaces. Helps prevent misalignment and tap damage saving time and money. Automatically squares up the tap with the surface. The center "V-groove" along the bottom of the guide allows for perpendicular alignment with all tap sizes, a snug fit on curved receivers barrels or parts with corners. Outer edges are surface ground to precise tolerances for a tight fit on flat surfaces. Precision machined from nickel-alloy steel then Heat-treated for strength durability and dimensional stability.
