DataComm Electronics' 20-5722 20PK - 2-Wire UR IDC (Butt Splice) Insulation Displacement Connectors (Yellow). The connectors are designed half the size of the UR connectors to keep splicing bundle to a minimum. UY connectors splice two 22-26 AWG solid copper communication conductors. "U" contact clamps down on the wire, strips the insulation and grips conductors. The UY connector is filled with a corrosion-resistant sealant (Gel-filled) to protect the connection against air and moisture. 50-micro-inch gold plating also prevents corrosion and extends connector life.
