In 1983, HB DISTRIBUTORS started selling Northern Telecom (NT) 2564 and Logic (1A2) Business Systems, Later on Vantage Business Systems to Independent Telephone Companies called Interconnects. Nortel Networks Corporation (Nortel), formerly Northern Telecom Limited, sold the Meridian Series to Aastra and In January 2014, Aastra officially merged with Mitel.
